- Can reclaimed automotive lubricating oils be reprocessed by solvent extraction technology?
- Adewole O, Owolabi O (2019) Characterization and suitability of reclaimed automotive lubricating oils reprocessed by solvent extraction technology. Recycling 4:31. https:// doi. org/ 10. 3390/ recyc ling4 030031 86.
- How to dispose of used lubricant?
- Used oil can be disposed of by ways of (i) dust suppression; (ii) dumping on landfill; (iii) incineration . Because of the need for environmental conservation, waste oil regeneration has become increasingly important. It is the best technique to manage the used lubricant, which is economically and environmentally sound .
- How is used lubricating oil recycled?
- Udonne J.D (2011) investigated four dif-ferent recycling methods of used lubricating oil: acid–clay, distillation/clay, acid treatment, and activated charcoal–clay treatment with a focus on recovering high-quality lubricat-ing oil from used lubricating oil after re-refining.
- How to treat waste lubricating?
- In their study, Abdul Kareem et al., (2014) showed that various treatment techniques such as distillation/clay, acid, activated charcoal/clay, and acid/clay were employed to treat waste lubricating, aiming to improve the quality of regener-ated oil.
