  • How many oil companies are in the DRC?
  • There are currently three major oil companies conducting extractive operations in the DRC. Anglo-French firm Perenco extracts offshore oil from the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Muanda in Kongo Central. French Oil Company Total and DRC parastatal Sonahydroc conduct exploratory and preliminary extractive operations in the Eastern DRC.
  • Which offshore fields do we operate in the Republic of the Congo?
  • In the Republic of the Congo, we operate the following offshore fields (in production): Moho Nord, Moho-Bilondo, Nkossa, Nsoko II, Yanga and Sendji. We also hold interests in several offshore producing assets. Lastly, we operate the Djéno oil terminal. We are currently examining plans to solarize the terminal.
